Pamela Parker has enjoyed a career as a horse trainer and an artist, enjoying both worlds in which her talents lie. Pam grew up around horses, and her early sketches as a child reflect her passion for them. While training racehorses professionally she painted in a makeshift studio in the stable tack room.

Pamela Parker studied privately with several artists, but has largely developed her compassionate, detailed technique on her own. She is as well known for her portraits of animals as she is for her portraits of people. Her painting engage the viewer and the viewer’s imagination, often resulting in moments of reflection and pleasant memories.
